Kuialnytskyi NNP

Kuialnytskyi National Nature Park is a unique protected natural complex located in the Odesa region, just 14 km from the city of Odesa. The park covers a total area of 10,800 hectares and is part of the Emerald Network of Europe, which unites protected areas important for biodiversity conservation.

The true treasure of the park is its unique natural resources. The Kuialnyk Estuary, which is part of the park, is famous for its healing mud, therapeutic brine, and mineral waters, long used for health and treatment purposes. In addition, the park is home to rich biodiversity of flora and fauna, many species of which are rare or endangered.

The park is not just about nature. It preserves traces of ancient civilizations and landmarks that tell the rich history of this region. It is a place where nature, history, and modern life blend harmoniously.

For the effective use and protection of natural resources, the park’s territory is divided into functional zones:

This is an area where nature remains untouched. Only scientists and nature enthusiasts visit to study rare species. This zone is designated for preserving natural complexes in their pristine state, with all economic activities strictly limited.
