Through Environmental Awareness — Toward Harmony with Nature
We believe that learning about nature should be engaging, exciting, and unforgettable! Kuialnytskyi National Nature Park is not only a place for recreation, but also a true center of environmental education — a place where we strive to instill love for nature in the heart of every visitor.
We are convinced that a real understanding of the importance of environmental protection is formed when we work together with local residents to preserve not only nature but also cultural heritage. That’s why we actively collaborate with communities, organize excursions, workshops, and events that are both interesting and beneficial for everyone.
But how can we teach children the importance of nature conservation? We do this through interactive lessons, fun lectures, and captivating eco-themed celebrations. Children happily learn about the life of wild animals in the Park and, together with our eco-educators, discover how crucial it is to protect the environment.
We also recognize the importance of keeping people informed. That’s why we are planning thematic stands in the park — where everyone can learn more about the area’s diverse flora and fauna, the unique features of the Kuialnyk Estuary, and how protected areas work. Brochures and handouts we prepare serve as a wonderful reminder of each visit and of how much there is to discover in nature.
If you want to become a true explorer, the nature school we are planning in our Park is exactly what you need! We invite you on an exciting journey into the world of nature — to watch birds, study plants, and even meet researchers during fieldwork. Feel like real scientists uncovering the secrets of the wild!
Our Goal
To build a culture of environmental awareness, engage the public in nature protection, greening efforts, clean-ups, eco-education, and sustainable living.
To achieve this, we:
-
Implement innovative approaches — integrate modern concepts into school environmental education programs, promote new methods, and develop recommendations on fostering ecological ethics and aesthetics
-
Raise ecological awareness — inform the public through media, social networks, printed materials, and educational content
-
Promote ecological knowledge — develop interactive educational projects, photo galleries, host public meetings, and share information about rare species and fragile ecosystems
-
Create educational materials — produce and distribute brochures, guides, flyers, and manuals on environmental education and nature protection
-
Shape public opinion — support biodiversity conservation ideas across all areas of social life
-
Organize events — hold lectures, seminars, conferences, discussions, quizzes, and ecological games
-
Explore eco-routes — survey ecological and scientific-educational trails
-
Support initiatives — help establish information centers, eco-schools, clubs, societies, and camps
We closely cooperate with secondary and higher educational institutions — schools, lyceums, gymnasiums, and universities.
We Offer
-
School lessons and lectures — introducing students to the park’s biodiversity, environmental issues, and ways to address them
-
Student sessions — offering hands-on practice, involvement in research and joint eco-projects
-
Excursions and field research — trips into the park for practical nature studies
-
Thematic events — celebrating ecological dates by engaging communities in contests, campaigns, and interactive programs
All these initiatives help foster a respectful attitude toward nature, cultivate an appreciation of its beauty and harmony, and most importantly, develop a deep understanding of the need to protect it.
In Cooperation with Local Communities
We believe that true understanding of environmental protection is nurtured through joint work with local residents. That’s why we actively partner with communities to organize initiatives that combine nature conservation and cultural heritage.
Our community activities include:
Park excursions, where anyone can learn about the area’s unique plants and animals
Workshops and family events, introducing ecological principles and nature protection practices
Environmental Education for Children
Children are our future, so we place special emphasis on fostering their love for nature. Our interactive lessons and joyful talks help kids understand the importance of preserving the environment.
Children learn about:
-
The lives of the park’s wild animals
-
Why nature matters and what they can do to help protect it
Information and Educational Materials
We believe it’s not only important to educate, but also to provide access to knowledge about nature.
In our Park, you will find:
Thematic stands — explaining the diversity of local flora and fauna, the uniqueness of the Kuialnyk Estuary, and the role of protected areas
Brochures and handouts — memorable materials to take home and continue learning even after your visit
Nature School for Young Explorers
We plan to launch a nature school — a true learning platform for discovering the environment. If you dream of being a real explorer, this is your chance!
At our nature school, you can:
-
Watch birds and study plants
-
Join field expeditions with scientists and feel like a part of the research community
Let Nature Inspire
We want everyone who visits the Kuialnyk Estuary to feel how nature inspires — and to understand how vital it is to protect it for future generations.
We truly believe that by supporting education and awareness, we can all help preserve this unique natural treasure for the future.
