Preserving it for ourselves and future generations requires a comprehensive approach: not only punishing those who break the rules, but also creating conditions where violations are unlikely to happen at all.
Special Zones and Rules of Conduct
Kuialnytskyi National Nature Park is divided into special zones that take into account the area’s natural features and behavior guidelines. This helps to better protect the territory, preserve its unique plants and animals, and maintain the natural balance.
Protection and Educational Outreach
Park staff not only ensure order but also engage in educational outreach. They inform visitors about how to behave responsibly in protected areas so as not to harm nature. This may include friendly conversations, informational signs, or meetings with local communities — as well as articles and publications that help people learn more about this unique region.
Every day, staff patrol the territory. They observe the condition of the natural environment, record interesting findings, and track ecosystem changes. Special attention is given to animals, plants, and fungi listed in the Red Data Book of Ukraine. Their protection is one of the park’s core missions.
In addition, the protection service works with other organizations to prevent fires, reduce human impact, and promptly respond to violations. Thanks to these joint efforts, we are able to quickly react to environmental threats and infractions.
