Step by Step: Community initiatives are a vital component of nature conservation, sustainable regional development, and public engagement in environmental protection. Such initiatives can take a wide variety of forms and have diverse goals, but their common feature is the active participation of citizens, volunteers, local residents, nongovernmental organizations, environmentalists, and educators in the life of the park.
Join us volunteer initiatives
We invite volunteers to join us in preserving the park’s natural environment: creating short videos and informational materials about endangered species, organizing mobile exhibitions and educational projects, helping to develop nature trails, routes, and observation points, as well as cleaning the area and combating invasive plants.
Volunteer patrols can help identify violations of nature conservation regulations, monitor animals, birds, and plants—including recording Red List species—and participate in campaigns to protect the park’s ecosystems.

to host festivals, fairs, or cultural events within the park
to organize mini-tours and tastings to promote local products and community-made souvenirs
to engage in communication and advocacy efforts aimed at influencing key decisions regarding park management through participation in community councils

To participate in the “Citizen Science” program (a citizen-led scientific monitoring initiative where nature enthusiasts can record their observations on platforms like iNaturalist, which will assist the park’s scientists)
