The park is one of the newest nature conservation areas in Ukraine. It was established by a decree of the President of Ukraine dated January 1, 2022, and the park’s full-fledged administration began operations in September 2024. This natural area is part of Ukraine’s nature reserve fund and is protected as a national treasure. A special regime for the protection, restoration, and use of natural resources has been established for the Park, underscoring its importance for ecosystem conservation.
The Park has the status of a legal entity, which ensures its independence in carrying out its activities. It operates on a self-sustaining basis and conducts financial transactions through accounts at a branch of the State Treasury Service of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine oversees and coordinates the Park’s activities. Thanks to state support, the Park fulfills an important mission of preserving natural and cultural heritage for future generations.
For many people, the estuary is not only a picturesque landscape but also a source of health. Kuialnyk is unique for its healing properties known throughout the world; it is a second Dead Sea where people from all over the planet can restore their health. It is one of the most unique resorts on the Odessa coast, with enormous potential for sustainable development and attracting tourists. Known for its healing properties, the estuary has been used for treatment and wellness since ancient times. Therapeutic mud, mineral water, and brine are a true treasure that nature offers to strengthen health and restore vitality.
The estuary is not just about physical health. Its serene beauty, picturesque landscapes, and incredible sunsets allow you to find inner balance and feel harmony with the world around you. It is a place where everyone can escape the noise of the city, recharge their energy, and experience the true magic of nature.
This is not just a job, but the art of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. The Kuialnytskyi National Nature Park was established by the President of Ukraine on January 1, 2022, and its administration began operations in September 2024. We have been entrusted with a responsible mission—to preserve, restore, and develop this unique territory so that its natural beauty remains intact for future generations.
We patrol the park, monitor ecosystems and rare species, especially those in need of protection and restoration.
The park is divided into zones so that visitors can enjoy the park without harming nature, and researchers can conduct their studies.
We organize tours, guided walks, and informational displays to help visitors better understand and protect the region’s natural environment.
We work with scientists, communities, and organizations to address environmental challenges, promote sustainable tourism, and preserve the park.
We firmly believe that managing nature is not about control, but about care and cooperation. Together with nature and people, we are building a future in which the Kuialnyk Estuary remains a source of health, inspiration, and harmony.
The park is a state-funded, non-profit institution and fulfills a number of important functions.
There’s something for everyone here—whether you’re looking to relax, learn something new, or contribute to preserving the environment.
