We were pleased to hold a working meeting with a journalist from “Odeske Zhyttia” to discuss several vital topics regarding the development of the Kuialnytskyi National Nature Park.
Park Director Oleksandr Shestun shared future plans and key operational priorities. He placed particular emphasis on initiatives to remove illegal dumpsites, as this remains a critical issue. The discussion also covered potential funding for conservation activities and the importance of combating off-roading (jeeping) within park boundaries.
Oleh Derkach, Head of the Research Department, noted the significance of preserving park ecosystems and protecting species listed in the Red Book of Ukraine, calling it a great collective responsibility.
Oleksandr Stepanov, Head of the Protection Department, highlighted the necessity of constant territorial monitoring and organized patrols to protect natural zones. He stressed the importance of timely responses to any environmental law violations.
